Art Nouveau Brass Filigree Enamel Linked Bracelet, circa early 1900’s

$145.00

Romantic Turn of the Century Storybook. Seven square brass filigrees have been linked together and five of the seven links have been adorned with mini enameled designs, seed pearls, marcasites, and turquoise balls. The aging of the brass and worn enameling is what is so charming about this piece besides its 120 year old age. Art Nouveau was an art movement that swept the world from 1890-1910. It’s known for an era obsessed with ornate design, floral motifs, enameling, and love of nature to name a few. It was an area that produced some of the most famous artists and painters of modern time and some would argue of all time, such as Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Mucha, and Renee Lalique.
